The Hotel Gollner is a 4* star hotel in the center of Graz. Built in 1961 as a “Grand Hotel”, it has been modernized and developed ever since! The hotel has been family-run since its foundation and today offers 61 rooms and apartments, conference rooms, parking facilities and fantastic (roof) terraces. The offer is rounded off with a rich, regional breakfast buffet as well as a small fitness and sauna area. For decades, the Gollner/Gerlach family has attached great importance to issues such as sustainability, careful use of resources and respectful treatment of employees and guests. The owners' daily operational work in the various areas of the hotel enables the aforementioned topics to be implemented and lived. In times before the “boom” in sustainability, we/our predecessors were often ridiculed when the topic of saving and efficiency in the use of resources was pointed out. However, it is also in our DNA to take these issues seriously and pass them on to our employees in the interests of our own company. Last but not least, unnecessary use of resources (electricity, heating, cleaning materials, food) results in higher financial costs. We have had control systems in place for decades to monitor consumption.
