Welcome to the Hochschoberhütte
The Hochschoberhütte offers simple, nutritious, and delicious cuisine, including vegetarian options. Local sourcing is prioritized, and the bread is baked on-site. Built in 1921 and reconstructed with wood after a fire in 1985, the hut features a cozy dining area with a tiled stove and underfloor heating. As a smoke-free refuge, it is ideally located in the Nassfeld area of the upper Leibnitztal, serving as the perfect starting point for excursions to the 3,242-meter-high Hochschober, the most beautiful viewpoint mountain in Tyrol, situated in the heart of the pristine Schober group.
Hut host Harry Lucca delights guests with delicious specialties from Austrian cuisine, homemade pastries, and exquisite wines and schnapps. As part of the Alpine Club Edelweiss, a strong commitment to sustainability is upheld. Responsibility towards the environment, employees, and guests is taken seriously, and active measures are being implemented to protect the environment, ensuring a healthy and livable space for future generations.
