Around 600 employees advise, develop and operate the IT infrastructure in the background across the group for Wiener Linien, Wiener Lokalbahnen, Wiener Netze, Wien Energie, Funeral & Cemeteries, immOH, GSWG, WiPark and Upstream Mobility. WienIT's services range from IT services and technical personnel processes to media planning and output management. WienIT was founded in 2003 and is a 100% subsidiary of Wiener Stadtwerke GmbH.

The portfolio includes the following services:

• Transactional printing: This is high-volume, personalized mass printing. WienIT manages the entire process of automated printing processes for the regular transmission of personalized information such as invoices, pay slips, etc.
• Card printing: WienIT produces ultra-modern cards in credit card format at record speed. From printing to enveloping in just 17 seconds, unique with photo and color. This creates the annual ticket for Wiener Linien, which is printed up to 1 million times per year.
