RIKA company profile
Our company was founded in 1951 and is based in Micheldorf in the Upper Austrian Kremstal. The processing of iron has been a tradition in the Kremstal since the 16th century. In 1982, we began to specialise in the construction of wood-burning stoves. Today we are one of the largest manufacturers of high-quality wood-burning stoves in Europe. We set very high quality and design standards for our products. The basis for achieving this goal is our design department, which is equipped with the latest CAD tools, and our well-equipped test laboratory. A large number of our own patents prove that we have the right ideas for technical solutions. Where economy and precision are required, we manufacture our RIKA stoves on ultra-modern computer-controlled machines. The finishing touches, the personal touch so to speak, are made by hand using traditional methods. All RIKA wood-burning stove models are tested in accordance with the Austrian BVG 15a directive, one of the strictest regulations in Europe. In some cases, the emission limits are undercut by half, while the efficiency is above the standard values.
