e&a film was founded in the summer of 2008. Our philosophy is to entertain and yet challenge our audience. Our productions encourage imagination, originality, and inventiveness. Producing films must not become a matter of routine, because creativity and flexibility are indispensable elements of a successful production. The language of film is global and has no limits.

"Bis auf Weiteres unsterblich"

When Marie comes to Vienna - to study, of course - she discovers the city, love and the world of music. Much to the chagrin of her mother, Andrea, who has had experiences in her own youth that she had hoped to protect her daughter from. But that's the thing about the past, it catches up with you.

Andrea is already on the train to Vienna, and sooner than she would like, she finds herself in the middle of an intense mother-daughter conflict. Not only does Andrea have to realize that Marie has a stubborn mind of her own (just like her mother), but Andrea's own head is being set straight - by her former musical mentor Marianne (Marianne Mendt).

What has Marianne done to herself? First Marie gets on her nerves about singing lessons, and then her former protégé shows up at the door. But of course she will put things right - Marianne style! And perhaps a dream that began more than 20 years ago will now come true? In the end, the stage will be rocked - because one thing is clear to everyone: music is life, love and laughter!

To mark the occasion, we are producing a 90-minute TV feature film that takes a fictional look at this typically Austrian topic.

Our filmic approach should be modern and narratively comprehensible. It is meaningful for us to tell a story of three strong women who have overcome resistance and achieved their goals.
