There are people who go to the office to work. And there are people who go to work at the cemetery.
A rotten gravestone kills the cemetery manager. And finally he can take over and keep the Donnersbach cemetery tidy: Heli Wondratschek. But the pedantic deputy hasn't reckoned with the town council. It's not him who gets the job, but someone who knows absolutely nothing about cemeteries: Ursula Fink. Chaos breaks out. Scurrilous. Morbid. Above, where the cemetery team quickly gets caught between the two bosses. And underneath, where the dead follow the drama above like a soap opera. Things come to a head when it becomes clear: Donnersbach cemetery is to close.
