THE COMPANY

Samsara Filmproduktion is an Austrian production company based in Vienna. The company was founded in 2017 by Loredana Rehekampff and Andreas Schmied. We focus on national and international high quality productions for cinema, television and streaming platforms, which are developed in close creative collaboration with the filmmakers. Our goal is to entertain the audience with smart and original stories – especially in genres for an international market.

SUSTAINABILITY

According to our principle „THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX” we are also handling the issue of sustainability. We keep our efforts as lean as possible to be able to increase accordingly to our temporarily needs. We don´t have a posh head office and are working out of our private facilities as long as we are not producing or shooting actively. This is resource efficient and saves time, transport and effort. We don´t own a company car but a dog which helps us getting our daily bit of fresh air. Company trips are done by train and our printers are almost retired as we are working mainly digitally. If required by a running film project we expand temporarily and rent a production office just for the time needed. Mostly we are lucky to find a temporary use of property.
