Tangente St.Pölten brings people together – the people oft he city and the suburbs as well as the millions of faces passing by on their daily way to work and back on the main route through Upper Austria. We want to invite you, to get to know St.Pölten (from a new perspective even).

The cross-divisional, socially and ecologically oriented program consists of every aspect of art: fine arts, theatre and stage performance, music, literature, science and discourse formats. Topics of the present, relevant for the whole world, will be taken from the lives and the history of the city St.Pölten and be put in a whole new light: ecology, memory and democraty.

As the presenter of such a cross-divisional festival Tangente St.Pölten has taken it as their goal to organise and host sutainable events and exhibitions. This includes climate-friendly transportations, avoidance of single-use drinks, paying attention to accessibility, exclusive usage of paper with an environmental label or 100% recycled paper in the office as well on external print media, the avoidance of single-use or floral decoration and the correct usage of gender-equitable communication online and on print media. In addition we are working together with sustainable caterings for our events.
