Half-day school with 15 classes, 355 pupils, 26 teachers, 2 school attendants, 1 cleaner, 1 secretary The building is in a quiet green area in Breitenlee. Each class has a terrace either into an atrium courtyard or onto a green area. The school is part of the “Healthy Schools” network (WieNGS) and is a PUMA and PILGRIM school.
Health promotion is one of our most important priorities. In our mission statement, appreciation and respect for all people we meet at the school is an important principle.
Thanks to the use of digital media at our school location, we have been an "it @ vs lighthouse school" for a number of years and were recognized as an "eEducation Expert School" in the 2016/17 school year. The "eEducation Austria" initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education aims to bring digital and IT skills to all classrooms in Austria - digital education for everyone! IMST has been an initiative of the BMBWF for many years to further develop and support Austrian MINDT school teaching - this is a matter of particular concern to us.
