Our small-scale holiday home in ecological construction is located in the "tenth" federal state of Austria, the Styrian Salzkammergut, more precisely in the town of Tauplitz. Many people know Tauplitz very well from the ski courses and family holidays they have often taken on the Tauplitzalm as children. As early as 1952, you could take the longest single-seater chairlift in the world to the Tauplitzalm.

Here in the Salzkammergut, the residents continue to live out their old traditions and customs and know how to appreciate the landscape and the special attitude to life of this unique part of the world, but also live it out.

Our Chalet Tauplitz is also a proud part of it! With a wonderful panoramic view, south-facing location and a view of the mighty Grimming massif, it is the most beautiful place for all those who value peace and quiet, despite its central location in the town. We offer comfort and coziness thanks to the beautiful, simple design with natural materials such as wood and stone.

In both summer and winter, you can enjoy the fairytale surroundings to the full.

From us you can quickly get to the lift that takes you to Europe's largest high alpine plateau, the Tauplitzalm, and experience the enchanting nature up close. There are also countless hiking trails - from a walk by the lake to a leisurely hike to a challenging tour in the mountains; mountain bike trails for beginners and professionals; natural, idyllic mountain lakes in the Ausseerland (such as Ödensee, Grundlsee, Altausseer See); alpine pastures can be easily reached either on foot or quickly by car.

Winter activities are also not long in coming, as the town of Tauplitz and the Tauplitzalm are ideal for secluded nature and mountain experiences. In addition to the classic winter sports for skiers, snowboarders or cross-country skiers, the place also offers great opportunities for snowshoe hikes, sledging or winter walks. Other ski areas in the vicinity are Loser, Planneralm, Riesneralm or Krippenstein.

All three apartments in our chalet have high-quality furnishings, bathrooms, kitchens or kitchenettes are fully equipped. Technically, everything is state-of-the-art, smart TVs, WiFi and Bluetooth speakers. When furnishing the house, we attached great importance to high-quality items as well as regional products and businesses.

Our guests have access to a garage, a ski and bicycle storage room, a spacious garden with a natural swimming pond and sunbathing areas from which you can enchant yourself with the picturesque Grimming and unwind - simply wonderful!

With the swimming pond, we have created something very special, namely a paradise for our small and large guests as well as "small and large neighbours", thereby contributing to improving biodiversity.
